ABOUT THE BOOKSTORE
The Friends Bookstore is located just inside the main entrance to the central Salem Public Library at 585 Liberty Street SE. The Bookstore sells high quality donated books and other items at very reasonable prices. The store is operated by Friends of the Library volunteers.

The funds raised via the Bookstore are used to support a variety of Library programs and events, including the Children's & Young Adult Summer reading programs, Jazz at the Library, the Teen Writer's Workshop, Family Festival of the Arts, and Children's Discovery Room exhibits.

Watch for the Bookstore's monthly specials, where the already low prices are reduced on books in selected genres..

MONTHLY AUCTION
Back by popular demand is the monthly auction. Visit the Friends Store each month to bid on specially selected books, collectibles, and art. For details call 503-362-1755 or stop by the Friends Store during your next visit to the Library.
